About

Stephanie Edens is a stay at home mother of three and photographer living in the Middle Tennessee area. She specializes in high school senior portraits and dances to Alvin and the Chipmunks. She does both equally well.

Stephanie is a former high school teacher who returned home after the birth of her daughter. When an obsession with photography became more than just a hobby, she started her own business. And it grew. And it grew. So much, that one day she felt totally disconnected from her little family.

So she went back home and regrouped.

Stephanie now photographs a select number of high school seniors each summer. She gets very excited when she finds a new grungy location and comes away from every shoot with dirty toes. She understands how society puts unnecessary pressure on our girls [and boys] to look and be a certain way and hates it. She wants everyone she photographs to feel beautiful and cool and important. Amen.

Scheduling is currently closed for 2009 Seniors, but if you would like to be added to her 2010 or 2011 lists, email her. Or call and be serenaded in the background by a 2 yr. old singing the Chipmunks version of “The Christmas Song.”

Either way.
